The Team
Marta Peixoto | Co-Founder
Marta Peixoto holds a Master’s degree in Education (Educational Technologies), with undergraduate degrees in the Teaching of Biology and Geology and in Primary Education (Mathematics and Natural Sciences), as well as trainer certification in the areas of science, mathematics, projects, and educational technologies. She is Administrator of INNOVEDU, lecturer, training manager, and co-founder of the Pedagogical Innovation Center at Casa do Professor. She has extensive experience in the design, management, and writing of national and international projects (both funded and non-funded), with recognized results, along with a wide range of technical-pedagogical and scientific publications.
Hilário de Sousa | Co-Founder
Hilário de Sousa has a solid academic and complementary background in the areas of Humanities and Education (Master’s in Pedagogical Supervision), a postgraduate degree in School Inspection, and a Diploma of Specialized Studies in Qualitative Data Analysis, as well as courses in Social Impact Assessment and Emerging Technological Skills (AI and data analysis). He is an education and social innovation consultant, teacher trainer, manager of national and international projects (both funded and non-funded), and has held executive leadership positions in schools and at Casa do Professor — where he served as President and Director of the Training Center.
Francisco Sousa
Francisco Sousa is part of INNOVEDU’s coordination team, bringing solid experience in project management and organisational leadership across both the corporate sector and the social economy.
Sara Miranda
Sara Miranda is a consultant in visual communication and multimedia design at INNOVEDU. She has developed creative solutions for educational and social projects, specialising in intuitive interfaces, mobile applications, and communication strategies.
Catarina Martins
Catarina Martins is responsible for monitoring and implementing INNOVEDU’s Child Safeguarding Policy. A lawyer by training, with experience in civil, digital, and child protection law, she ensures that all organisational activities comply with applicable legal and ethical standards, fostering safe and inclusive environments in line with international principles for the protection and well-being of all.
Miguel Silva
Miguel Silva holds a degree in Management, with a particular interest in digital marketing, communication and project management. He has been actively involved in associative contexts, standing out as Vice Coordinator of the Marketing Department at ADEGE and as a Project Manager at the Minho Investment Association, where he develops content and communication strategies. Recognized for his sense of responsibility, organization and critical thinking, he combines technical skills with a strong ability to work in teams and demonstrate leadership.
